Major Keith Tomlinson is the Army’s Area Recruiting Officer for South Yorkshire responsible for promoting, nurturing and mentoring young people to consider the Army as an aspirational career choice either full time or spare time. He has over 39 year’s experience in the Army himself joining as a boy of 15 from a council estate in Doncaster without any formal education and having risen through the ranks from Private to Major has a good understanding of the local area, community and what qualities and development young people need to promote themselves into the world of work.
