Andrew Whitham is Secretary and Project Development Officer for the South Yorkshire Buildings Preservation Trust, (SYBPT), a charity which seeks to bring historic buildings, often redundant and derelict, back into beneficial use in areas of generally higher than average deprivation. He is passionate about promoting awareness of the historic built environment as a way of developing community regeneration strategies and regularly presents the work of the Trust to community groups, professional groups and amenity societies.
