Operations

• A4e Poland operates from 5 centres, 4 in the south of Poland across Silesia and Malopolska regions and 1 in the north-west of Poland in Szczecin.
• Our current projects (5 up-&-running projects): ESF 7.2.1 Zabrze, ESF 6.1.1 Malopolska (Oswiecim & Olkusz), ESF 6.1.1 Swietochlowice, ESF 8.1.2 Szczecin, ESF 6.2 Szczecin.
• A4e’s current operations are mainly based on ESF projects within the following priorities classes:
  • Welfare to work provision, supporting socially excluded customers, promoting social integration.
  • Labour market open for all, supporting 45+ clients who are residents of rural areas.
  • Regional human resources programme, increasing training opportunities for workers.
  • Business start-up programme.
• Over 900 clients have been welcomed in our centres in Poland so far from various client groups
• Our programmes in Poland are voluntary for our customers but we work with Poviat Labour Offices to invite clients to our programme. Our conversion ratio is at 85%.
• The leavers into job ratio is currently at 85% against 33% of contractual requirements.
• We are working closely with 100 employers and we have a database of over 300 employers who we have contacted and keep in regular contact with.
• A4e Poland employs 56 full time employees and works with many contractors to ensure the best service for our clients.

Poland latest wins and successes

• A4e Operations in Poland have been awarded “ESF best practice award for 2009″ from Ministry of Regional Development.
• Excellent contact with media – regular presence in local and regional press and TV.
• Focus to be on systemic bids and projects to be implemented part of our latest wins in country:
  • - ESF 8.1.1 Szczecin, ESF 7.2.1 Szczecin, ESF 6.1.1 Zabrze (last two – contracts not signed yet).
