We have helped Corus, Indesit and Trelleborg with their outplacement programmes offering
Corus asked A4e to offer outplacement services to 500 employees facing redundancy of the 386 who accessed the programme 10% were assisted in starting their own business; over 25% engaged in re-training programmes, more than 50 secured alternative positions within Corus following application and interview training and over 35% secured alternative employment.
Indesit came to A4e to support 308 employees facing redundancy, of these over 50% were assisted with their plan to retire or semi-retire; 63 engaged in training and 67 found alternative employment.
A4e help 58 employees of Telleborg facing redundancy, of these 28 secured alternative employment; 10 re-trained; 6 took early retirement and 9 entered one of A4e’s DWP funded programmes for the newly unemployed.
We put individuals at the heart of our support which is made up of 3 distinct phases each of which will greatly increase their chances of finding a new role and finding it quickly.
Understanding the individual and what they have to offer employers
We work with staff to truly understand what skills and capabilities they have, and what value these bring to a potential employer. Often people underestimate the value they bring to work and how that might be seen by a different organisation. Through robust self-assessment techniques, we help them to gain a better understanding of themselves, their skills and their capabilities and how this translates to future employment and the job market in general.
