Queens House - Our New HQ

A4e's Head Quarters have moved. OK, it’s not very far (approx 0.18 miles!) but it’s quite a significant move for us.

As you may already know, we started out in Sheffield over 20 years ago, operating out of our Bessemer Road office. Since then we’ve expanded across the city and have several frontline offices delivering a range of different services to customers; including Direct Payment for Social Care, Flexible New Deal, Connect to Work and Train to Gain, all within Sheffield. 

Our International Showcase

To support all of our frontline delivery, Sheffield also plays host to our shared support services including HR, Finance, Estates, Sales & Development, Marketing, Quality and Audit and IT departments.

Our new headquarters epitomises our organisations vision and values and will work as a showcase for both national and international visitors to see how we transform our goal of improving people's lives into a reality.

A team working together under one roof

This is a huge milestone in the A4e journey and one that we have been planning for a long time.  It will be the first time that the majority of our support and frontline staff will be brought together under one roof, since the early days of A4e.

The intention of the move is to establish Queens House as our International Headquarters, bringing all of our services together under one roof, whilst remaining in Sheffield where our roots are.  Establishing an international headquarters in the birth place of our vision is also an exciting opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to further invest in the future.

Queens House will be a place where we can bring partners, sub contractors, governments and customers together to demonstrate how we live the ethos of ‘improving people’s lives’ whilst sharing the excellent work that we all do – how fantastic!

As you will see from these pictures Queens House Reception has been designed to look and feel unique and inspired. Being the main area where we will meet and greet everyone who visits us it was important that we created the right look and feel.
