A4e’s ‘Business Success for Childcare’ programme offers a flexible approach to delivering business training and information to the childcare sector. Formed in 2003, it was the first of its kind in the sector to offer a consistent approach to business skills training across the country.
Training Team
Our trainers are specialists in the field of leadership and business management. The trainers have several years of experience of delivering this programme to childcare practitioners and managers, which have provided a practical insight into the issues that affect each type of childcare provider. They are able to adapt material to ensure that it meets the needs of the audience and signpost to sources of further support where issues are raised that are not specifically covered within the workshop. Networking is a key element of every workshop and is encouraged throughout the programme to foster a spirit of collaboration and support.
Contract Management
Through working with over 148 Local Authorities in England the contract team has developed an in-depth knowledge of childcare issues affecting the sector, ranging from Government policy and legislation to occupational and quality standards.
Tailored Training
We have so far delivered over 3,000 business management and leadership workshops to over 40,000 childcare providers since 2003, enabling A4e to recognise the subtle differences that are unique to different areas of the country. We use this knowledge to offer bespoke workshops covering specific issues.
