Provision of Services to improve the employment prospects of offenders
The procurement of the second phase of ESF funded services for offenders has now been announced, with Prime Contractors being asked to submit a PQQ by 2 April, and delivery scheduled to commence in early 2011. The overarching aim is to provide greater cohesion between offenders and existing offender specific skills and employment services and to support the transition to mainstream employment and skills provision.
A4e is keen to hear from organisations with specialist expertise in supporting offenders, and will soon be launching a call for partners to register via this website.
