JOBS CHEER IN NORTH DEVON
05/02/2010
TRAINING providers A4e and Maximus Employment & Training UK are celebrating getting 260 people back into work across North Devon in 2009 – and looking to do even better in 2010, said John Tate, business manager for Maximus North Devon.

Maximus and A4e Pathways are both private welfare providers and specialists in helping people get back into long term sustainable job opportunities. Maximus deliver worksteps, career advice and Pathways to work in North Devon.

Pete Smale, External Relations Manager for A4e in Devon & Cornwall, said: “We value our partnership with Maximus who are doing a fantastic job in a part of the region with some real economic and rural challenges. We are really proud that 260 local people have found jobs in the middle of one of biggest recessions in living memory.”

A4e Pathways to work run offices around Devon & Cornwall, which is an independent service for people in receipt of sickness or disability-related benefits. A4e like Maximus provide impartial advice, training and support to help local people gain suitable or sustainable jobs, added Pete.
