PATHWAYS in Cornwall have recruited a new receptionist that is purrfect at making people with health related disabilities feel relaxed when visiting our Bodmin offices.

Staff has named the cat (PTW) Pathways to Work - who is always the first to arrive and the last to go home. All she requires during the day is a tin of cat food, bowl of water, and plenty of love and attention from local clients and the Pathways team.

A Plymouth Bites Back Celebration Awards Day is being planned at the Plymouth Guildhall on Wednesday 31st March 2010, in association with The Herald's successful campaign to champion city community groups, training providers, educational establishments, public sector organisations, charitable and local businesses.
INTERNATIONAL award winning Sri Lankan journalist Lal Hemantha Mawalage who claimed asylum in the UK in 2008-is being supported by A4e advisors at our ESF Plymouth Works office, and looking to find employment opportunities in the British media.
Mr Jim Knight MP, Regional Minister for the South West and the Minister of State for Employment and Welfare Reform, met A4e Pathways Operations Manager Paul Dingle - for a brief meeting in Plymouth to hear how A4e staff are helping local people around the West Country get back into work.
